Our objective is to begin to nurture the leadership capabilities of the next generation of Ghanaian, African Leaders and equip them with transformational and ethical leadership skill set for across all sectors.

Specifically, DAAKYE will build the social, political and economic leadership capacity of at least 300 young people between the ages of 18 years to 30 years across Ghana.

The Daakye Youth Leadership Fellowship envisions a peaceful, politically stable and a developed Ghana with strong systems and institutions and  where every citizen is living a dignified life and  have the opportunity to realise their full potential.

At FOSDA, we believe that with the right crop of leaders and with the right skill set and consciousness,  Ghana and Africa will overcome the challenges and develop into a society where it’s citizens can thrive and achieve their full potential. We are proposing a continuous non-academic leadership training for young Ghanains and eventually for young African that will prepare the next generation of leaders for the country and the continent  that will propel the change we want to see.

it is becoming glaringly clear  that if nothing is done to break the tide, the next generation of leaders will be worse, and Africa will further nose dive leaving the next generation in a worse situation. if leaders are prepared today for tomorrow, mentored and accompanied, it is very likely we will see a different Africa and Ghana in the next 10-20years.
